Job Description

Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning of senior individuals.
Collaborating with seniors, their families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans.
Providing individual or group counseling sessions to address emotional, psychological, or cognitive challenges.
Conducting educational sessions to increase awareness and understanding of mental health issues and coping strategies.
Assisting seniors in accessing community resources and support services related to mental health.
Maintaining accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Collaborating with other professionals within the senior center to provide consultation and guidance on psychological aspects of care.
Responding to crisis situations and providing immediate support and intervention for seniors in distress.
