Tasks
Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that promotes employee engagement, collaboration, and innovation.
Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns
Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
Develop strategies for attracting top talent, ensuring the company remains competitive in recruiting and retaining skilled employees.
Lead the organization’s response to crises or unexpected challenges, ensuring effective communication and resolution strategies are in place.
Analyze and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency, reduce fuel costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Evaluate and implement transportation management systems (TMS) and other technology solutions to streamline operations.
Manage accurate records of all operations, finances, and compliance-related activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
