Responsibilities
Tasks
• Operate light- and medium-duty tow trucks and other specialized service vehicles.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, including tires, lights, brakes, and equipment, to ensure road readiness.
• Handle customer payments and issue receipts for services rendered.
• Adjust and maintain braking systems to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Perform minor roadside repairs and emergency maintenance when necessary.
• Carry out pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance with company and safety standards.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on towing vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with central dispatch to receive and relay service information.
• Secure loads properly using tarps, straps, and safety devices
• Train and mentor team members on updated towing methods and safe work practices.
