Tasks
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food,
Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
Ensure food service and quality control,
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage,
Prepare and submit reports,
Prepare food order summaries for chef,
Establish methods to meet work schedules,
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures and also assist with the staff performances and evaluation.
Prepare budget and cost estimates,
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Assign workstations and manage breaks.
Ensure overall cleanliness of restaurant.
