Responsibilities
Tasks
• Oversee and coordinate daily office operations related to dispatch, and client communication.
• Review, evaluate, and implement new administrative processes to improve operational efficiency within the trucking company
• Set work priorities, assign tasks to office staff and helpers, and ensure deadlines and protocols are consistently met
• Implement and maintain administrative procedures in line with company policies and transportation industry standards
• Administer company policies and procedures related to document handling and respond to information requests in compliance with access to information and privacy laws
• Plan and coordinate office services such as equipment maintenance, driver accommodations, parking logistics, and office relocations
• Assist in the development of the company’s operating budget, maintain office inventories, and implement financial control measures
• Gather operational data (e.g., delivery metrics, trip summaries, maintenance records), and prepare internal correspondence, quarterly performance reports, and special project updates
